Cross Insurance, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp., and one of the largest independent insurance providers in the Northeast region, announces today that it has rebranded with The Lougee Insurance Agency in Duxbury, Massachusetts.
The Lougee Insurance Agency, formally established in l967, has grown to provide insurance protection for thousands of individuals and businesses in Duxbury and surrounding South Shore communities. In January 2012, Lougee Insurance merged with the Corcoran & Havlin Insurance Group, a division of Cross Insurance. The combination of the two firms has further strengthened Lougee Insurance’s ability to provide customers with superior insurance service and risk management advice. Lougee is now one of the premiere insurance agencies in the South Shore and a consistent recipient of the prestigious Five Star Insurance Agency Award of Distinction.

With the recent hire of longtime Duxbury resident and financial services professional Ed Rovegno as Risk Management Director, Cross Insurance – Duxbury will become the flagship personal insurance advisory to the Duxbury region.
Rovegno will serve as the leader of the Duxbury location and will work closely with the agency’s service team, Christine Lougee Smith and Lori Regan. They will continue to lead its new and existed client base as the agency has done since l967.
