This webpage outlines the Health Insurance Coverage that is available to all Unity Environmental University Students. The need for protection against unexpected medical expenses, that may be incurred as a result of accident or sickness, is obvious. These expenses can seriously deplete the financial resources earmarked for educational purposes.
The program described on this page is designed to provide protection at a reasonable cost for covered expenses that accrue outside of the school wellness services.
All registered hybrid students taking 3 to 6 credit hours per 5 week term are automatically enrolled in the Unity Environmental University Student Health Insurance. Distance Education students are not eligible to enroll. You will need to confirm or waive the Unity Environmental University Student Health Insurance Plan by logging into your Unity Environmental University Student Portal in terms that occur prior to December 15, 2023 for the annual policy. New students attending terms beginning after January 1, 2024 must confirm or waive by the start of their first term.
Coverage begins on July 1, 2023 and terminates on June 30, 2024 for the Annual Term. The Annual Term premium is $2,916. The Spring Term (new students) coverage begins on January 1, 2024 and terminates on June 30, 2024. The Spring Term premium is $1,449. Once enrolled, a student may not cancel the insurance. Coverage continues until the Policy terminates.
